Are SOFIA shoes true to size?

It depends what shoes you compare them with. Most riders coming from Vans or Nike prefer one size smaller in SOFIA. It's best to check the size chart and see what size matches your foot length.

Do they work for wide or narrow feet?

SOFIA tends to fit best on narrow to medium-width feet. We're already working on options that will meet the needs of riders with wider feet as well.

Can I exchange if the size is wrong?

Of course. If the size doesn’t feel right, just contact us and we’ll exchange it easily. 

How do they feel compared to regular skate shoes?

SOFIA gives you more support and stability than a soft vulc skate shoe. The construction keeps its shape under impact and lasts longer in the zones where skate shoes usually die first.

How durable are they for street riding?

SOFIA is built for the demands of street riding. The upper is reinforced in the exact areas street riders destroy most, and the sole pattern is designed to last longer while keeping its grip.

Do they need breaking in?

A little. The first session feels solid and snug, and by the second or third ride the shoe molds to your foot.

Do they work well with both plastic and metal pedals?

Yes. The sole pattern was designed to work with both metal pins and plastic pedals, and riders in the community use both with great results.

Are they comfortable for everyday use?

Absolutely yes. ts the daily shoe for all our riders, no matter what we do. But remember, this is a BMX shoe first. The cushioning and support are built for heavy abuse. If you only go to school or to work in them, they might feel like a bird without wings.

Are SOFIA shoes heavy or light?

They’re balanced. Not a super-light vulc, not a bulky tank. Sturdy enough for impact, light enough for long sessions.

Absolutely yes.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping usually takes 3–10 days, depending on your country. We always provide a tracking number so you can stay updated.

Made in Portugal. Designed in Sofia, Bulgaria.
